About the Role:

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking vehicles.
  • Mix paints and primers according to specifications.
  • Ensure all safety and quality standards are met during the preparation process.
  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of the paint shop.
  • Collaborate with painters to ensure timely project completion.
  • Perform quality checks on prepared surfaces before painting.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in automotive paint preparation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of paint mixing and application techniques.
  • Ability to nib, polish, wet sand and buff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork mentality.
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
  • Valid driver's license is a plus.
