Job description

Under direction of the CIO, this role leads the development and evolution of the company's enterprise technology software strategy and ensures alignment with the strategic priorities of the business. The Executive Vice President, Enterprise Technology Business Software Services and Solutions provides strategic direction, oversight, and execution leadership for enterprise software solutions across multiple platforms. This role is responsible for delivering technology solutions for the organization and guiding the business to ensure software solutions are optimized from conception through implementation.Develops and executes the overall technology strategy for enterprise software solutions, aligning software plans with business objectives and strategic priorities. Communicates and aligns enterprise software solution plans with the executive team, business partners, and stakeholders; links multifaceted business solutions across platforms and departments; and develops and manages a multimillion-dollar budget to support cost-effective and efficient resource allocation. Oversees enterprise software architecture and development, including core application development, web and mobile application development, and platform integration. Ensures software solutions are developed and maintained with a focus on security, compliance, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Assesses and communicates benefits and risks associated with technology solutions, informs strategic investment decisions, supports increased use of data-driven analytics and predictive capabilities, and establishes metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and return on investment of software development initiatives. Provides operational leadership by communicating the software technology vision, collaborating across business and technology functions, researching emerging technologies and trends, and championing innovation. Guides recruitment, development, retention, and organization of enterprise technology development teams while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, continuous improvement, and alignment with the credit union's mission, values, and culture. Negotiates and manages strategic partnerships with key technology vendors to ensure service levels are met and value is maximized.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a business-related field. Fifteen (15) or more years of experience in leadership roles, including experience in the financial institution industry; or eight (8) or more years of IT and/or management consulting industry experience serving clients within the financial services industry sector. Experience managing large teams and budgets. Proven track record of successfully delivering enterprise software solutions across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and desktop. Knowledge of security and compliance best practices. Ability to leverage banking industry knowledge and broad technical knowledge to envision, drive, and deliver business solutions across the enterprise. Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to set, manage, and communicate priorities from technical and non-technical perspectives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, exceptional service orientation, and the ability to motivate teams in a collaborative environment.
