  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that are designed to tackle a variety of mental health concerns while promoting resilience and mental well-being.
  • Collaborate with our team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure that care is well-coordinated and comprehensive, addressing all facets of the patient's health.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support when faced with mental health emergencies, utilizing your training to guide patients through challenging situations.
  • Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can further assist them.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring a clear and organized patient record.
  • Engage in case conferences, team meetings, and training sessions focused on cultural competency and best practices in mental health.
  • Continuously stay informed about current research, evidence-based practices, and cultural considerations relevant to mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work at Envision Psychotherapy Center will primarily focus on individuals from multicultural backgrounds, many of whom may be facing unique challenges related to their identities, including ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants. You will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the mental health outcomes of patients who often feel underserved in traditional mental health settings.

Qualifications
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • A valid license to practice as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia is essential.
  • Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based therapeutic approaches, and the importance of cultural competence in therapy.
  • Experience in delivering individual and group therapy, with a focus on culturally responsive methodologies.
  • Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, which enable you to build rapport with a diverse array of clients.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure efficient patient documentation and record-keeping.
  • A strong commitment to professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality in all interactions.
  • A proven ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team dynamic.
Preferred Experience
