Job description

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Bathroom Monitor to join our manufacturing team. The Bathroom Monitor is responsible for overseeing employee use of restroom facilities to ensure accountability, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies. This role manages sign-in and sign-out logs, assigns stalls to employees, and inspects restroom stalls after use to confirm they remain in proper condition. The Bathroom Monitor plays a critical role in maintaining fairness, order, and respect for shared facilities within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage restroom sign-in/sign-out logs for all employees using the facilities.

  • Assign restroom stalls to employees in an orderly and fair manner.

  • Inspect restroom stalls after each use to ensure they are left in proper condition.

  • Document and report any restroom misuse, damage, or sanitation issues to supervisors.

  • Maintain confidentiality and treat all employees with respect and professionalism.

  • Communicate immediately with leadership if violations of facility rules, safety hazards, or inappropriate behaviors are observed.

  • Support compliance with company policies and standards regarding restroom use.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Prior experience in monitoring, compliance, or facility operations roles is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document accurately.

  • Good communication skills and professionalism when interacting with employees.

  • Ability to enforce policies consistently and fairly.

  • Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods.
