Job description

Lead a Commercial Transformation That Will Define the Next Decade

Envirogen is looking for an exceptional VP of Sales to lead the transformation of our North American commercial organization and play a pivotal role in delivering our ambitious growth strategy.

Reporting directly to the Group CEO, this is far more than a traditional sales leadership position. We are seeking a proven commercial leader who can build a world-class sales organization, embed a high-performance culture, and shift the business from transactional, price-led selling to a consultative, value-based approach focused on customer outcomes, lifecycle performance, and long-term partnerships.

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing international business and help drive North American revenue.

About Envirogen

Envirogen is a leading international provider of water, wastewater, vapor emissions, material recovery treatment, and process filtration solutions. With more than 50 years of expertise in Europe and 30 years in North America, we deliver innovative engineered solutions that help customers solve complex environmental and water challenges while placing sustainability at the heart of everything we do.

The Opportunity

As VP of Sales, you will have full responsibility for the performance, structure, and development of our North American sales organization across 3 key business lines:

Projects & Systems
Healthcare
Service & Consumables

You will lead Sales Directors and Business Development Managers, build commercial discipline, strengthen forecasting accuracy, improve margin performance, and establish the processes, tools, and culture that create predictable growth.

Most importantly, you will champion a consultative selling approach that positions Envirogen as a strategic partner rather than simply a technology provider.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the North American commercial strategy in alignment with the company's long-term growth plans

Drive the transition from transactional selling to value-based, consultative sales focused on customer outcomes and total cost of ownership

Lead and develop high-performing Sales Directors and Business Development Managers across multiple regions and business lines

Take ownership of order intake, revenue growth, gross margin, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline development

Grow recurring service and consumable revenues, increasing customer lifetime value and revenue predictability

Establish rigorous sales processes, qualification standards, and CRM discipline across the organization

Improve pipeline quality, opportunity management, and forecast reliability

Work closely with Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to ensure commercial commitments are technically robust and financially sound

Provide Board-level commercial reporting, insights, and strategic recommendations

Strengthen Envirogen's competitive position across key sectors including healthcare, industrial water, energy, mining, municipal, and environmental remediation

Why Join Envirogen?

Executive-level role reporting directly to the Group CEO

Opportunity to lead a major commercial transformation

Significant influence on the future direction of the business

High-growth international organization with ambitious 2030 objectives

Mission-led company focused on sustainability and solving critical environmental challenges

Competitive salary and performance-based incentive package

If you are an experienced commercial leader ready to build, transform, and scale a high-performing sales organization, we would love to hear from you. Join Envirogen and help shape the future of sustainable water and environmental solutions.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Significant senior commercial leadership experience as a Chief Sales Officer, VP Sales, Commercial Director, or equivalent

Proven success leading sales transformations from price-led selling to value-based, consultative commercial models

Experience building and leading multi-region, multi-business-line sales teams within engineered solutions, capital equipment, water treatment, environmental technology, or related industrial sectors

Strong track record of delivering revenue growth, margin improvement, and accurate forecasting

Demonstrated ability to build accountability, coaching cultures, and high-performing sales teams

Deep understanding of CRM-driven sales management and pipeline governance

Experience operating within fast-paced, entrepreneurial, growth-focused organizations

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred

Highly Desirable

Experience in water treatment, wastewater, environmental technology, industrial process solutions, healthcare water systems, energy, mining, municipal infrastructure, or similar sectors

Success competing against large global organizations with technically differentiated solutions

Experience growing recurring service and consumables revenues alongside capital equipment sales

Established network of industrial, municipal, engineering, or infrastructure decision-makers across North America

Leadership Profile

You are a commercially astute, data-driven leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You build trust, develop people, and create accountability while never losing sight of the customer.

You understand how to translate technical capability into compelling business value, and you are comfortable engaging executives, engineers, operators, and board members alike. Above all, you are motivated by building sustainable growth and creating a high-performance sales culture that consistently delivers results.

Benefits

  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)
  • Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
