Job description
Position Overview:
Focus Clinic is seeking a compassionate and tech-savvy Assessment Technician to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work directly with children, administering computer-based diagnostics and interventions that help shape their care journey. Your attention to detail and ability to create a supportive, engaging environment will be essential in ensuring the highest standard of care. No prior certification is required-comprehensive training will be provided. If you are passionate about child development, technology-driven healthcare, and making a meaningful impact, we invite you to apply and join our innovative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor computer-based testing for children with ADHD, learning disabilities, and behavioral problems.
- Assist providers with diagnostics and interventions.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and test results.
- Support the clinical team with various tasks, including setting up and maintaining medical equipment.
- Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to children and their families.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure a smooth and positive experience.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications:
- Emotionally intelligent and mentally resilient personality.
- Experience working with children is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with technology and computer-based documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
