Position Overview

Enhanced Motion Physical Therapy is seeking dedicated Physical Therapists to provide exceptional care to our patients in Hartford, Connecticut. In this full-time role, you will be a critical part of our rehabilitation teams, contributing to the recovery and rehabilitation of patients through individualized therapeutic interventions. You will work onsite in our state-of-the-art facility, engaging with a diverse patient population while directly influencing their health outcomes.

Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Hartford, our rehabilitation facility boasts a modern design tailored to enhance the healthcare experience. You will work within a collaborative team of healthcare professionals including orthopedic surgeons, nursing staff, and rehabilitation specialists. Our environment fosters professional growth, with mentoring opportunities and continuous training. Your daily work hours will be Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Enhanced Motion, you will:

  • Manage a designated patient caseload, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care by integrating knowledge from assessments, evaluations, and clinical expertise.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to establish individualized treatment goals and care plans focusing on achieving optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Provide direct therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices and treatment modalities to improve patient functionality and mobility.
  • Engage with patients and their families to educate them on therapeutic exercises, the use of rehabilitation devices, and home care strategies to enhance recovery.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to continuously refine patient care strategies.
  • Prioritize clinical duties, manage daily staffing needs, and streamline patient flow efficiently to optimize service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass a wide range of patients requiring rehabilitation due to orthopedic surgeries, chronic pain, sports injuries, and mobility impairments. You will be responsible for creating a positive environment that fosters patient engagement and encourages active participation in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you should possess:

  • A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or commitment to obtain this within 30 days of employment.
  • A passion for compassionate care and dedication to the improvement of patient outcomes.
Preferred Experience

While no prior experience is required, candidates with internships or relevant clinical rotations in orthopedic rehabilitation will have a distinct advantage. We value fresh perspectives and are eager to support your professional development.
