A family in New Jersey is seeking a Spanish-speaking nanny for their 5-year-old son. The role is not just about language — the ideal candidate must be a warm, empathetic educator who can guide the child through daily life, teach social and emotional skills, and provide developmental support in Spanish.
Requirements:
• Relevant work experience
• Spanish proficiency: Advanced / Fluent (C1 or above)
• Strong background in early childhood education or caregiving
• Empathetic, patient, proactive, and nurturing
• Ability to teach through everyday interactions, not just formal lessons
• Clean record and excellent references
Duties:
• Full childcare (meals, hygiene, play, routines)
• Engaging developmental activities in Spanish
• Teaching life skills, manners, emotional regulation, and curiosity about the world
• Creating a warm, respectful, and structured environment
• Accompanying the family on occasional trips
Compensation: High and negotiable.
Schedule: 2 days on / 2 days off.
