Advanced Maintenance Technician – Industrial Manufacturing


A growing regional manufacturing company with a facility in the Ohio area is currently seeking several Advanced Maintenance Technicians for Direct Hire opportunities with their expanding maintenance team. Advanced Maintenance Technician rates are anticipated to be $25.00 - $35.00/hour, based on each candidate's experience and education. All well-qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours. Qualified Advanced Maintenance Technicians will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

  • 2+ years of recent/relevant industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing, production, processing, or automated facility.
  • 2+ years of recent experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment is highly preferred.
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on industrial equipment.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, motors, controls, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, boilers, air compressors, welding, and fabrication.
  • Experience with MIG, TIG, or ARC welding and basic fabrication is highly desirable.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair automated production equipment.
  • Experience working safely in an industrial environment with Lockout/Tagout and OSHA safety practices preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, respond to maintenance needs, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required. Equivalent industrial maintenance, military, automotive, construction, plumbing, or electrical experience will be strongly considered.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (no H-1B sponsorship or student visas considered).
  • Must be able to successfully complete standard pre-employment checks including background, drug screen, and references.
