Description
Energy Aspects is seeking an experienced Sales Team Leader with a strong emphasis on coaching and sales success. This role is pivotal for the growth of Energy Aspects, driving sales excellence and achieving ambitious sales objectives through effective leadership and development of individual sales contributors.

The successful candidate will prioritise a coaching approach to continuous skills development, embody a ‘no limits’ mindset, demonstrate a commitment to data-centric analysis and excellent reporting in Salesforce, possess superior time-management and prioritisation skills, deliver great communications, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous learning within the team. The successful candidate will themselves demonstrate ‘coachability’, and bring to the role a deep commitment to the personal and professional development that will be required to bridge skills gaps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilise an analytical and data-centric approach to identify the right strategies and actions that will drive sales success for individual contributors in the team.
  • Coach individual contributors on the full range of sales skills, including account planning, prospecting, negotiations, deal structuring, matching offerings to client needs, product/market/client knowledge, Salesforce opportunity updating & completion, pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and detailed reports on team performance, leveraging Salesforce and other CRM tools to monitor progress.
  • Ensure the full range of EA resources and teams are brought to bear on commercial opportunities through close collaboration and communication with Research, Marketing, Customer Success and Sales Operations.
  • Monitor regional market trends and client feedback to adapt coaching and sales strategies.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership and coaching role.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing sales talent.
  • Proficient in analysing sales data and performance metrics to drive coaching initiatives.
  • Strong command of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Availability to travel globally.
  • Energy sector experience is not essential but would be advantageous.
  • Experience using Salesforce.
