Job description

Energico Freight is an Amazon Freight Partner based in the Lehigh Valley, PA. We're hiring Class A CDL drivers for regional round trips. No Touch Freight. Drop and Hook.
You'll be employed by Energico Freight, not by Amazon.
The schedule:
  • 4 days on, 4 days off, rotating year-round
  • Two nights in the sleeper per 8-day cycle. Home the other nights you work.
  • The cycle runs 8 days and the calendar runs 7, so your days off shift week to week. Weekends off are not fixed.
  • A run is a round trip: a driving block out, a 10-hour reset in the sleeper, a driving block back
Pay:
  • $24.00 per hour base, W-2
  • $36.00 per hour overtime past 40 hours. Overtime is calculated on each week separately, not averaged across the pay period.
  • Your check varies with how many duty days fall in the pay period:
  • Annual: roughly $58,000 to $68,000 gross on a full rotation.
  • $500 bonus after your 90th day worked safety and successfully.
  • 401(k) through ADP. We match 100% of your contribution on the first 2% of pay

Actual earnings vary by hours and routes assigned.

What you'll need:
  • Valid Class A CDL. [3+ months tractor-trailer experience preferred.]
  • At least 21 years old
  • Meet MVRC (motor vehicle records check) and PSP (Pre-Employment Screening Program) standards, with no current CDL suspension or revocation
  • Current DOT medical certificate. Able to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Able to read and speak English well enough to converse with the public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
  • Able to use a smartphone and company-provided device

You'll be employed by Energico Freight LLC, not by Amazon. Energico Freight LLC is an independent Amazon Freight Partner operating under a separate program agreement with Amazon.
Hours and earnings vary by assigned routes and freight volume. The figures above are estimates based on a full rotation and are not a guarantee of hours or income. Benefits are subject to plan eligibility requirements, including a minimum average number of hours worked per week set by the plan; extended leave or reduced hours can affect eligibility, and an employee premium contribution is required. All bonuses require active employment in good standing at the time of payout. All offers are contingent on background check, MVR and PSP review, DOT physical, and pre-employment drug screen.
