Position Overview

Empower Mind Wellness Hub is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for a full-time position in our remote outpatient office. Work Environment

This full-time position is remote, providing flexibility that enhances your work-life balance while allowing you to contribute significantly to our outpatient counseling center. Our counselors operate on an appointment basis, which encourages adaptability in scheduling to meet client needs effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to determine clients’ needs and create individualized treatment plans, ensuring every client receives tailored support.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions across various formats, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, adapting approaches to align with clients' specific circumstances.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide holistic care and ensure integrated support systems for clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems effectively.
• Engage in professional development activities by staying updated on current research and advocating for evidence-based practices within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their personal journeys, offering them tools and insights to foster resilience and promote mental health recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing direct counseling services in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal considerations related to counseling practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of building therapeutic relationships with clients from varying backgrounds.
• Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant technologies for managing clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in trauma-informed care, substance use disorders, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Experience in providing culturally competent care to a diverse client base.
