Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to craft tailored treatment plans for each client, ensuring an individualized approach to therapy.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to a varied client demographic, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to create cohesive treatment strategies that address all aspects of clients' well-being.
• Maintain diligent and accurate clinical records that comply with ethical standards and legal guidelines, ensuring quality care and accountability.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying abreast of current research and attending workshops relevant to the field of mental health.

As an LPC at Empower Mentor Therapy, you will serve a diverse clientele with varying mental health needs, including those experiencing trauma, substance abuse issues, and relationship difficulties. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience delivering counseling services in a clinical setting is essential.
• Familiarity with ethical frameworks and legal stipulations pertinent to clinical practice is crucial.
• Impressive communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Experience in working collaboratively as part of a healthcare team is preferred.
• Proficient with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related software is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as trauma therapy, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desired.
