Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health status, identifying their unique needs and goals.
• Collaborate with clients to develop customized treatment plans that reflect their objectives, ensuring a tailored approach to therapy.
• Deliver evidence-based individual therapy sessions to adult clients, employing a range of therapeutic modalities including solution-focused brief therapy and cognitive-behavioral techniques.
• Engage in crisis intervention services when necessary, demonstrating a calm and effective response in challenging situations.
• Stay current with best practices in mental health treatment by participating in ongoing professional development and training programs.
• Maintain accurate client records while minimizing paperwork to prioritize your time spent with clients.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on empathy and a non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, enabling effective caseload management.
• A clean disciplinary history with no previous actions against your professional license.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role, providing individual therapy.
• Demonstrated ability to work in remote settings and effectively manage virtual therapy sessions.
• Experience in crisis intervention strategies and techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

Empathic Health Therapy Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and caseload. Additional benefits include:
