Emergent has partnered with a growing industrial production company within the automotive sector, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee all accounting operations at their facility. This individual will play a critical role in financial reporting, cost accounting, and ensuring compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Oversee cost accounting functions, including inventory valuation and standard costing
• Partner with operations leadership to support production efficiency and cost control initiatives
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
• Coordinate audits and work with external auditors, banks, and tax professionals
• Develop and mentor accounting staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or industrial production strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
