Work Environment

This position is fully remote, providing flexibility while maintaining a strong team-oriented atmosphere. You will work Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed to accommodate client schedules. Our hospice center supports a collaborative culture that encourages ongoing communication and teamwork among healthcare professionals, ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive, holistic care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will engage directly with clients who are experiencing significant mental health challenges. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and developing personalized treatment plans for clients suffering from severe emotional disorders and major mental illnesses.
• Providing therapy and support in both individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to advance client care and achieve shared treatment objectives.
• Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation to comply with ethical and legal standards.
• Contributing to the organization's mission by participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives and training exercises.
• Fostering a respectful and inclusive environment by working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients at the hospice center who are navigating complex emotional and behavioral challenges due to serious health conditions. You will have the opportunity to leverage your clinical skills to empower clients, assisting them in coping with grief, loss, and the psychological impact of serious illness. Building trusting relationships with clients and their families will be at the core of your work, providing essential emotional support during challenging times.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and possess a valid LCSW license. Key qualifications include:

• Extensive knowledge in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies relevant to mental health.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, crucial for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Organizational and planning skills that facilitate efficient case management and reporting.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, particularly within the context of hospice care or acute mental health settings. Experience with crisis intervention, risk assessment, and treatment evaluation will be highly regarded. Candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to professional development, including ongoing education and training in psychotherapy modalities, will be favorably considered.

Compensation and Benefits

Emerald Psychotherapy Services offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 85,000 – 90,000 per year. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
