Job description

Job Summary:
Ellipsis Labs is a profitable, venture-backed startup building sustainable and efficient DeFi protocols. They are seeking an inaugural EVM Senior Smart Contract Engineer to develop and maintain critical smart contracts for the EVM and serve as an in-house expert and mentor.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain critical smart contracts for the EVM, along with the appropriate monitoring systems
• Serve as in-house expert and mentor on the EVM
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience building, deploying, and maintaining EVM smart contracts in production
• Experience working with auditors
• Deep understanding of Ethereum and low-level EVM concepts
• A demonstrated track record of high agency, willingness to dive into unfamiliar technical and non-technical areas, and a team-first attitude
• Passion for decentralized finance
Preferred:
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
• Experience with Rust or other statically typed languages
• Experience in quant trading or DeFi
