Sourcing / Procurement Specialist


(3-6 months initial contract)


We are currently supporting a global logistics and supply chain business with deep roots in the retail and e-commerce sectors, who serve some of the world’s most recognized brands.


As part of another major expansion into the U.S. market, they are seeking a Sourcing / Procurement Specialist to support on the set up of multiple new flagship automated warehouse facilities.


We are therefore seeking a procurement professional who can strategically source the physical materials for these warehouse fit-outs e.g. Lighting, MHE, Racking equipment etc and manage the end-to-end procurement process from negotiating the final cost to coordinating delivery.


Ideally candidates will have similar warehouse fit-out sourcing experience, however, we will consider similar transferable skills from candidates with strong sourcing / procurement experience in areas such as logistics, distribution or warehouse automation.


Key Responsibilities


  • Identify, vet, and negotiate with local and national vendors to support facility launch and operational readiness
  • Collaborate with site leadership, operations, finance, and HR to align on procurement needs and timelines
  • Optimize cost and performance while ensuring service reliability across all spend categories
  • Monitor supplier performance, enforce SLAs, and proactively manage risk
  • Deliver reporting and visibility on spend, contracts, and key procurement KPIs


Experience & Skills


  • Procurement or sourcing experience within distribution, warehousing, 3PL, or supply chain sectors
  • Ideally hands-on experience launching or stabilizing new logistics sites (greenfield or brownfield)
  • Strong vendor negotiation and contract execution experience
  • Apparel, lifestyle, or retail industry experience is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with procurement and ERP systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP, Oracle)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a dynamic, scaling environment
