Job Title: Experienced Medical Assistant (Part-Time) – Payson & Nephi, UT

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis (4 days per week). This role requires traveling between our Payson and Nephi clinic locations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth patient flow, supporting our providers during specialized podiatric procedures, and delivering exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and sanitize exam rooms and equipment for daily appointments and specialized podiatric procedures.
• Greet patients, room them promptly, and accurately record vital signs and detailed medical histories.
• Assist providers directly during clinical examinations, treatments, and in-office procedures.
• Manage, update, and maintain accurate patient electronic health records (EHR) and paper charts while ensuring strict HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain efficient clinic flow, manage inventory, and prep charts ahead of scheduled visits.
• Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients regarding care instructions and appointments.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of proven clinical experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient or specialty medical office setting.
• Education & Certification: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program; CMA or RMA credential preferred.
• Clinical Skills: Strong foundation in medical terminology, patient rooming, clinical procedures, and electronic health records management (podiatry experience is a plus).
• Adaptability: Reliable transportation and willingness to work at both our Payson and Nephi locations.
• Soft Skills: Highly self-motivated with strong communication skills, excellent time management, and a focus on exceptional patient care.
