Elev8 Recovery Center is looking for a Full Time Housekeeper as we grow and expand. Elev8 Recovery Center is a cutting edge substance-use-disorder (SUD) treatment center that has partnered with DailyPay for same day access to funds! Employees no longer have to wait until pay day to get their earnings. We are located in Harlem, NY. We are an OASAS-licensed and CARF-certified Center of Excellence. Elev8 Recovery Center offers inpatient detox, withdrawal, and stabilization services, as well as inpatient rehabilitation services for individuals with substance use disorder.
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday (6:00am - 2:00pm)
Responsibilities:
• Keep paper and chemical supplies stored in work rooms neat and organized.
• Keep housekeeping cart clean and stocked.
• Complete Detail Cleaning such as wiping ceiling vents, high/low dusting, wiping furniture, edge vacuuming and baseboard cleaning.
• Perform basic equipment care, checks for wear and damage on assigned equipment.
• Keep track of client clothing belongings for return
• Must stay current and knowledgeable on proper disinfection practices and infection control requirements, standards, and techniques for infection reduction.
• Perform light extraction carpet cleaning and scrubbing of safety flooring using automated equipment

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare or related setting required.
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to handle chemicals and bio-hazardous materials, which may require the use of protective gear such as gloves and goggles
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook) and computer skills.
