The Director, Integrated Communications (Maternity Leave Cover for 7 months) leads ELEMIS' integrated communications strategy in the US, driving brand desirability, cultural relevance, and earned awareness across Public Relations, Influencer Marketing, Organic Social, Brand Partnerships, Collaborations, and Experiential Marketing.

Reporting to the SVP Marketing, North America, and partnering closely with the Global Communications & Content team, this role develops integrated communications strategies that strengthen brand equity, amplify storytelling, cultivate influential brand advocates, and position ELEMIS as a leading luxury skincare brand.

The Director leads a high-performing team and agency partners, ensuring every launch, partnership, event, and creator activation delivers measurable impact while supporting long-term brand growth. Through integrated communications strategies, this leader will strengthen brand equity, inspire advocacy, generate meaningful earned impact, and support sustainable business growth.

Located in NYC Metro Area in-office 3 days per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs).

What You Will Do:

• Lead the US integrated communications strategy across PR, creators, organic social, partnerships, collaborations, and experiential marketing.
• Develop integrated 360° communications plans supporting product launches, campaigns, retail initiatives, and strategic business priorities.
• Champion an earned-first approach that drives cultural relevance, consumer engagement, and brand desirability.
• Partner with Global Communications & Content to localize global initiatives and identify US market opportunities.

• Lead the US PR strategy to maximize editorial coverage, executive visibility, thought leadership, and compelling brand storytelling.
• Cultivate strong relationships with media, editors, journalists, and industry influencers.
• Oversee media outreach, press events, product launches, and executive communications.

• Develop and evolve ELEMIS' creator strategy, building a diverse network of creators, celebrities, practitioners, and brand advocates.
• Lead paid, affiliate, gifting, ambassador, and experiential creator programs.
• Measure and optimize performance through EMV, engagement, share of voice, brand affinity, and business impact.

• Partner with Global Social to shape organic social strategy through US consumer insights, cultural trends, and platform innovation.
• Collaborate with Creative, Brand Marketing, Ecommerce, and Education teams to ensure consistent, market-relevant storytelling.
• Leverage content performance and audience insights to continuously optimize strategy.

• Develop strategic partnerships, collaborations, and experiential activations that elevate brand relevance, generate earned media, and deepen consumer engagement.
• Lead communications strategy for media, influencer, retail, and VIP events.
• Evaluate opportunities based on both brand equity and commercial impact.

• Lead, coach, and develop the Integrated Communications team while managing agency partners and external vendors.
• Foster strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure integrated execution across Marketing, Creative, Ecommerce, Education, Retail Marketing, Sales, and Global teams.
• Manage communications budgets, planning, and agency performance.

• Establish KPIs across all integrated communications channels and regularly communicate performance to senior leadership.
• Monitor consumer behavior, creator trends, competitive activity, and cultural conversations to identify opportunities and optimize strategy.

• Proven success leading integrated communications strategies for consumer brands.

• Strong network across media, creators, talent agencies, and strategic partners.
• Strategic communicator with exceptional storytelling and brand-building expertise.
• Deep understanding of today's creator economy, earned media landscape, and organic social platforms.
