Your expertise in therapy will not only aid in enhancing clients' well-being but will also play a vital role in delivering high-quality care aligned with state and federal regulations.

About the Organization

Located in the vibrant city of Henderson, Nevada, Eleanor Behavioral Health Center has established itself as a leading community health clinic dedicated to mental health and wellness. Our mission is focused on creating a supportive environment for clients seeking therapeutic interventions. We pride ourselves on embracing diversity and inclusivity, allowing our therapists to thrive professionally while positively impacting the lives of those we serve.

This position is entirely remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while ensuring that mental health services are accessible to a diverse clientele. You will work within an innovative team of mental health professionals, fostering collaboration and sharing best practices. Our approach emphasizes a culture of mutual support and respect, where your skills are valued and professional growth is encouraged.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and emotional states, which guides the subsequent creation of individualized treatment plans.
  • Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, or mindfulness-based interventions, tailored to each client's unique circumstances and goals.
  • Deliver various modalities of therapy including individual, family, and group sessions, ensuring a comprehensive treatment strategy is followed.
  • Regularly monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on feedback and observed outcomes.
  • Offer immediate crisis intervention services and develop safety plans for clients requiring urgent support.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential therapy records in alignment with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines to ensure the highest standards of practice.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, comprising psychiatrists, social workers, and fellow therapists, to facilitate comprehensive care, ensuring that all aspects of a client's health are addressed.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and advances in mental health practices, participating in educational workshops and training sessions regularly.
  • Uphold ethical standards and professional guidelines established by relevant licensing boards to maintain the integrity of practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

We serve a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds, requiring culturally competent treatment approaches that recognize individual differences and needs. As a therapist in our center, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful therapeutic relationships and witness transformative outcomes in your clients' lives.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Current state licensure as a mental health therapist (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW).
  • Proven clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities, enabling comprehensive evaluations of clients’ mental health.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effectively interacting with clients and collaborating with team members.
  • An empathetic and compassionate approach, aiming for client-centered care that prioritizes the well-being of individuals.
  • Ability to operate independently while also engaging constructively within a team framework.
  • In-depth understanding of ethical guidelines and legal aspects surrounding mental health practice.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning in the field of mental health.
Preferred Experience

A minimum of three years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a similar remote work setting or community health clinic. Experience with telehealth delivery methods is advantageous, as it allows for seamless therapy sessions that suit our client base.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Attractive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
  • Access to a retirement savings plan (like a 401k) to help secure financial future.
  • Generous paid time off and holiday policies to promote work-life balance.
  • Opportunities for continuing education and professional growth, including workshops and certification programs.
  • A collaborative and supportive work culture that encourages long-term career development.
