Job description
Are you looking for a Full-time and Part-time Dining Server opportunity where you don't have to work late nights/evenings? Do you have a passion for providing excellent customer service and enjoy working with seniors? If so, we may have the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently accepting applications for Dining Room Server for our beautiful, senior living community, Elan Westpointe, located in New Braunfels, TX!
Our Servers work first and second shifts - so this means no late nights!
Previous Server experience preferred but not required.
As a server you will be paid a competitive hourly wage, for this reason we do not accept tips/gratuities from the residents.

Purpose:
Our Dining Room Server performs a variety of functions in the dining room to ensure residents have a pleasant dining experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Similar experience preferable
- The ability to work in a team environment and work flexible shifts
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to lift a minimum of 15 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Takes resident(s) meal orders and serves meals correctly and efficiently
- Provides delivery of orders to resident apartments upon request
- Sets tables with napkins and tableware
- Refills condiments and salt and pepper shakers
- Sets up and keeps salad and dessert counter supplied
- Cleans dining room tables and chairs and vacuums dining room
- May perform other duties as needed
- May have their picture taken and image used in social media or community advertising.
- May be video recorded from devices installed by families in residents' apartments.
