• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction that actively engages students and promotes critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic, social-emotional, and developmental needs of every learner.
• Utilize a variety of student-centered instructional strategies that foster engagement, ownership of learning, and meaningful participation.
• Continuously monitor student understanding during lessons and adjust instruction in real time based on student needs and performance.

Educational Solutions teachers utilize district-developed curriculum and instructional systems to thoughtfully prepare lessons that maximize student learning and promote mastery.

• Plan high-quality lessons utilizing district curriculum, Daily Objectives, Daily Knows, Daily Shows, pacing guides, and instructional resources.
• Develop lesson plans, lesson timing guides, checks for understanding (CFUs), exit tickets, lap sheets, and instructional materials that support effective lesson execution.
• Implement Educational Solutions' mastery-based instructional model by providing targeted feedback, intervention, and multiple opportunities for students to demonstrate mastery.
• Analyze district-developed Knowledge Checks and mastery exemplar questions to create scaffolded learning experiences, formative assessments, and instructional supports.
• Collaborate through Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), instructional planning meetings, and professional development while completing required instructional reflection activities and maintaining district instructional data trackers.

Educational Solutions teachers utilize ongoing assessment and student data to make instructional decisions that accelerate learning and ensure every student achieves mastery.

• Monitor student learning using formative assessments, Knowledge Checks, benchmark assessments, classroom observations, and student work.
• Analyze academic data to identify learning trends, misconceptions, strengths, and instructional priorities.
• Participate actively in collaborative data meetings to review student performance and determine instructional next steps.
• Develop and implement targeted reteaching, intervention, and enrichment plans based on student performance data.
• Maintain accurate student performance records while utilizing district data systems to monitor growth, mastery, and academic progress.

• Maintain accurate attendance, grading, instructional records, student documentation, and required reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Educational Solutions policies, Ohio Department of Education requirements, and all applicable state and federal regulations.
• Maintain required Ohio licensure, certifications, and professional credentials while fulfilling all mandatory professional responsibilities.
• Fulfill mandatory reporting obligations while ensuring student safety, well-being, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
• Uphold the mission, vision, values, professional expectations, and culture of Educational Solutions while serving as a positive representative of the organization.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Valid Ohio teaching license or the ability to obtain appropriate Ohio licensure.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Ohio Learning Standards and evidence-based instructional practices.
• Experience utilizing student achievement data to improve instruction preferred.
• Strong commitment to educational equity, high expectations, and student success.
• Ability to successfully complete all required BCI/FBI background checks.

Working Conditions

• School-based and community-based work in Columbus, Ohio, with local travel to homes, community sites, and meetings as needed.
• Occasional evening or irregular hours may be required to support family events and community engagement.
• Work includes frequent standing, walking, and sitting; occasional lifting/carrying of materials up to approximately 25 pounds.
• Requires the ability to maintain calm professionalism under stress and frequent interruptions.
