Overview

At Citadel, engineers work in small teams to turn ideas into high-performing, resilient technology with short development cycles into production. You’ll use state-of-the-art tools across distributed computing, NLP, machine learning, system architecture, platforms, and web frameworks.

The 11-week internship lets you collaborate with senior engineers, ship work that brings trading strategies to life, build large-data research platforms, and network with peers — with opportunities across New York, Miami, Greenwich, and Houston.

Key Requirements

• Eligibility: Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in CS, computer engineering, or related fields.
• Skills: Exceptional programming and design; strong analytical skills with familiarity in probability and statistics; clear communication in complex technical teams; intellectual curiosity for hard problems.
• Availability: Signature term June–August; indicate flexibility for Sep–Dec or Jan–Apr if needed. Choose preferred office among NY, Miami, Greenwich, Houston.
