Job description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

As a Workforce Development Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive workforce development strategies that align with organizational goals while enhancing the skills, capabilities, and career growth of our team members.
In this highly collaborative role, you will assess current workforce skills, identify future training needs, and develop innovative programs that foster a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and growth. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with regional internal stakeholders, educational institutions, community organizations, and workforce development agencies to identify current and future talent needs, design targeted programs, and build strong pipelines of qualified candidates.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) certification preferred.
  • Five (5) or more years of workforce development experience, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  • Experience partnering with educational institutions, community organizations, and workforce development agencies.
  • Demonstrated success designing, implementing, and managing workforce development programs and initiatives.
  • Experience writing grants and securing funding for workforce development initiatives.
  • Experience working within a large, complex organization.
  • Healthcare recruitment and/or talent acquisition experience is a plus.
