Job description

Eddins Search Group is a search firm working exclusively in construction technology. We're recruiting this role on behalf of a client in the construction software space. Client details are shared on the first call.

The short version

You know how construction actually works. You've lived the RFI backlog, the submittal log that lives in three different places, the change order nobody approved in writing. Our client hires people with exactly that experience to help construction companies get their software running right — from a laptop, on your own schedule, without a jobsite trailer.

You do not need prior software experience. If you've run work in the field and you're good with people, they'll teach you the platform.

What you'll do

  • Onboard new construction clients onto the platform — general contractors, subcontractors, owners, and design firms
  • Run discovery on how each client currently manages projects, then configure the system to match how they actually operate
  • Lead virtual training for project teams, from PMs down to field staff
  • Build out templates, workflows, and permission structures for each account
  • Own the client relationship through go-live, then hand off cleanly to Customer Success
  • Bring recurring client pain points back to the product team

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years in construction, or construction technology — field, office, or software side all count
  • Comfortable leading a call with a room full of people who'd rather be doing something else
  • Strong general technical aptitude; able to learn a platform deeply

Those are the requirements. If you hit those three, apply.

Helpful, not required

  • Hands-on with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, P6, or similar
  • Background as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, Superintendent, Estimator, or Project Coordinator
  • Experience training or mentoring teams
  • Any implementation, onboarding, or consulting exposure

Why people take this role

  • Remote, permanently. Not hybrid. Not "remote-first."
  • No jobsite. No 6am start, no weather delays, no windshield time.
  • Under 10% travel. A few client visits a year.
  • Your construction experience is the asset, not something you have to explain away.
  • Clear track into Solutions Engineering, Customer Success leadership, or Product.
