This is an opportunity to join a highly experienced team delivering large-scale, mission-critical data center developments across the United States.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction leader with a strong background delivering large-scale, ground-up data center or mission-critical projects.

Reporting to senior construction leadership, the Director of Construction will oversee the execution of complex data center developments, with responsibility for project budgets, schedules, quality, safety, and overall delivery. This individual will provide leadership to project teams while serving as a key interface between general contractors, vendors, internal stakeholders, and project partners.

The ideal candidate has significant experience delivering large-scale, fast-track construction projects and is comfortable taking ownership of complex projects from early construction through completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of large-scale data center construction projects, ensuring accountability for budget, schedule, quality, and safety.
  • Oversee ground-up construction activities including sitework, utilities, core and shell, and interior fit-out.
  • Manage and coordinate general contractors, vendors, consultants, and project partners throughout construction.
  • Review, track, and forecast project budgets, cost reports, schedules, and overall project performance.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain delivery commitments.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance, EH&S, and other internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Lead and develop project management teams while promoting accountability and high performance.
  • Review contracts, payment applications, change orders, schedules, and other key construction documentation.
  • Provide leadership and direction in resolving complex construction and field issues.
  • Prepare and present project updates, risks, financial information, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Maintain high standards for safety, quality, professionalism, and execution across all projects.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of construction management experience with significant responsibility for large-scale, complex projects.
  • Proven experience delivering data centers, mission-critical facilities, or comparable fast-track construction projects.
  • Experience with large-scale ground-up construction, including core and shell, sitework, utilities, and fit-out.
  • Experience managing major construction budgets, with exposure to projects valued at $500M+ preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction schedules, contracts, cost controls, forecasting, payment applications, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing general contractors, vendors, consultants, and project teams.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, BIM platforms, and related construction management tools preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Work Environment

  • Full-time position based in Lancaster, Texas.
  • Domestic travel required, up to approximately 20%.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Position requires successful completion of applicable pre-employment screening requirements.

Benefits and Growth Opportunities

  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Life insurance.
  • Paid time off and paid leave programs.
  • Opportunity to lead major, technically complex data center construction projects.
  • High-visibility role working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Opportunity to join a rapidly growing segment of the digital infrastructure industry.

Equal Opportunity Statement
