Job description
Location: Chattanooga, TN, 37402
Key ResponsibilitiesPool Maintenance- Maintain proper pool chemical levels
- Perform backwashing and vacuuming
- Ensure pool area cleanliness and safety compliance
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) in guest rooms and throughout the property
- Change HVAC/AC filters throughout the building
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and correct issues before they impact guests
- Standard hotel plumbing repairs including:
- Plunging and unclogging toilets
- Repairing or replacing sinks and fixtures
- Addressing minor leaks and drainage issues
- Remove debris and ensure clean, safe exterior conditions
- Assist with general property upkeep as needed
- Change and remove trash throughout the hotel
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness in back-of-house areas
- Utilize Quore to enter and track preventive maintenance, work orders, and assigned tasks
- Accurately document completed work and follow up on outstanding issues
- Provide professional, courteous customer service to guests and team members
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests with a guest-first mindset
- Perform additional duties as assigned outside of the normal maintenance scope when operational needs require
- Previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience required
- Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC basics, pool maintenance, and preventive maintenance programs
- Experience using Quore or similar hotel maintenance software preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and communication
