Position Summary
As an Outside Sales Professional, you will be the face of Easy Garage Door Repair in the community. You won't just sell doors; you will provide property owners with peace of mind, safety, and curb appeal. Walking into residential properties and commercial facilities, you will evaluate their existing setups, consult on upgrades (such as high-cycle springs, hurricane-ready wind-rated doors, and smart LiftMaster/Genie openers), and leverage our competitive financing plans to close deals on the spot. (100% Commission Based)
Key Responsibilities
Onsite Consultations: Respond promptly to warm, dispatched leads and conduct visual inspections of residential garage doors and commercial overhead/loading dock systems.
Consultative Selling: Educate clients on the benefits of upgrading to insulated steel, modern carriage styles, smart home integration, and rust-resistant hardware suited for Houston's climate.
Overcoming Financial Barriers: Introduce and pitch our 0% APR financing options (up to 24 months) to increase conversion rates and help clients afford comprehensive repairs or full replacements.
B2B Networking: Actively prospect commercial accounts, reaching out to warehouse managers, property management groups, and multi-unit complexes to secure recurring maintenance and repair contracts.
Accurate Estimating: Generate detailed, transparent project estimates using our digital sales tools, ensuring no hidden fees or surprises for the client.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Successful outside sales or field sales experience (home services, construction, or industrial sales preferred but not required).
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical garage door components in simple, everyday language.
Drive: Strong closing skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
Mobility: Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle to travel across our extensive Houston service territory (Katy, Sugar Land, Spring, etc.).
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using mobile CRM tools, digital quoting software, and financing application interfaces on a tablet or smartphone.
