Title: Field Technician Level I

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Field Technician Level I. This is the first of three levels of field service technician work. As a Field Technician Level I, you will be responsible for troubleshooting simple technical issues under the guidance and direction of more experienced staff. Work assignments are varied but limited in scope and complexity. In this role, you will assist with the installation, servicing, and repair of equipment at customer locations, requiring local and long-distance travel.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and resolve simple technical issues related to Eaglestone products and systems at customer sites.
- Conduct simple troubleshooting to diagnose mechanical, electronic, or other specialized problems and develop effective solutions.
- Handle on-site tasks under the direction of more experienced staff, including assisting with installation, routine maintenance, and equipment repairs.
- Assist with the physical handling, lifting, and maintaining of equipment or the testing operations of systems on-site.
- Assist in assembling and building conveyor systems and other Eaglestone equipment in the shop when not deployed on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities, including service reports, inventory, and proper documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Work closely as part of a team to collaborate and come up with solutions to customer problems.
- Adhere to all Safety policies and procedures continuing to promote the Company's culture of providing a safe work environment
- Maintain a positive and proactive attitude towards all colleagues, members of Management, and customers.
- Ability to work on other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Skills/Requirements:
- Some experience as a Field Technician or similar role, preferably in a technical or engineering field.
- Foundational technical knowledge and proficiency in troubleshooting simple mechanical or electronic systems.
- Ability to work effectively under direction and supervision while learning to make sound decisions in a fast-paced on-site environment.
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with customers and Team Members.
- Detail oriented with good organizational and time management abilities.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours and travel as required.
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation to and from work and customer sites.
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
Compensation: $25.00 - $29.00
- Ability for some overtime throughout the year depending on business needs.
- Paid weekly in arrears each Friday.

Work Location and Schedule:
- Position requires you to be in the field at customer locations.
- When not traveling to customer locations you are required to be in the Naperville shop.
- Position requires in-state and out of state traveling.
- Rotating schedule between other Field Technicians
- Weekend work required.
