We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Archaeologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough archaeological fieldwork, including excavation, survey, and data collection, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This role involves collaborating with project managers and other team members to develop research designs, analyze artifacts, and produce detailed reports documenting findings. You will also assist in coordinating field activities and supervising junior staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Archaeology or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in cultural resource management. Strong knowledge of archaeological methods and techniques, as well as experience with GIS and data analysis software, is essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required for preparing reports and presenting findings to stakeholders. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to field sites are also necessary. If you are passionate about archaeology and dedicated to preserving cultural heritage, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
