Job Description

Working at Premier Periodontics will provide the opportunity to collaborate with experts. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals who recognize and appreciate the essential role you play in patient care. Closely partnering with the clinical team, you will regularly engage in strategy/education sessions that will elevate our patient experience. As a Sterile Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our surgical equipment. Your attention to detail and adherence to strict sterilization protocols will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients and help us continue to deliver the highest standard of care.

Duties include:

  • Daily cleaning, decontamination, sorting, packaging and sterilization of instrumentation and equipment
  • Maintains logs/recordkeeping on maintenance care and sterilization load
  • Monitors effectiveness of sterilization process
  • Prepares and assembles trays, kits and packs
  • Rotates, stores and orders supplies as needed
  • Assist Hygienist with charting and sterilization of rooms
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or dental setting is preferred
  • An active Washington Dental Assistant registration is REQUIRED
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict guidelines
  • Experience with X-Ray imaging and software (Denticon) is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22/Hour
