About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Valve Technician to join our shop team. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of valve maintenance—including disassembly, thorough inspection, precision assembly, testing, and detailed quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Disassembly & Inspection: Safely disassemble valves; inspect components for wear, damage, or non-conformance against specifications.
• Assembly & Testing: Perform precision assembly and pressure/performance testing on serviced and reconditioned valves.
• Quality & Documentation: Accurately complete all required QA/QC documentation, test reports, and service records.
• Material Management: Understand and process material requisitions to ensure correct parts and supplies are utilized.
• Quality Functions: Adhere to shop quality control standards and participate in additional quality assurance processes as required.
• Safety & Shop Maintenance: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace in compliance with company safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working specifically with large bore gate valves.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen (required for compliance/facility requirements).
• Licensing: Must possess a valid, current Driver’s License.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read/interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders.
• Drug Screen Requirements: Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and consent to ongoing random drug testing.
