ENCONA (encona.org) is an internationally operating automotive training, auditing, and consulting company with a global network of subject matter experts and industry professionals.

Many top OEMs and 20 of the 25 biggest automotive component suppliers worldwide trust our services and competence for training and vehicle launches. As an accredited VDA license partner we provide VDA training modules in South Africa, the USA, Canada, Germany, and Taiwan. We also develop and provide our own ENCONA-branded training courses globally.

Our client demand is expanding, and we need to increase our network of resources to provide consulting services and audits. ENCONA Consultants will work together with clients to implement quality systems, improve processes to conform to industry standards, audit manufacturing processes, and support suppliers launching new vehicle component production. Should you have extensive experience working in quality management or production launch in an automotive manufacturing environment, consider working with ENCONA.

Your tasks will depend on the project to which you are offered. However, you will mostly be responsible for performing the following:

• Auditing
• Developing processes
• Supporting in new production launch projects
• Supplier readiness
• Risk analysis
• Project management

Skills and attributes for success

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Business or Engineering or a similar major.
• Seven to ten years of industry experience in the Automotive/Manufacturing Industry.
• Knowledge of process audits to the VDA 6.3:2023 standard as well as MLA principles are desirable.
• Excellent command of German and additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong written and presentation skills; ability to clearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences.
• Willingness, ability, and flexibility to travel.

Ideal consultants will have one or more of these certifications: VDA 6.3: 2023, Maturity Level Assurance for New Parts (MLA), PMP, Project Management trained, and will have a personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations. Flexibility is necessary to adapt to a variety of project types, working hours, and work environments and locations. An important part of your role will be to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. You will anticipate and identify risks within projects and share any issues with senior members of the team.
