Logistics Coordinator/Analyst – Logistics & Operations

Location: Houston, TX

Schedule: 4 days in office | 1 day remote

We’re partnering with a growing organization in the logistics and transportation industry that is looking for an Administrative Coordinator to join its Houston team.

In this role, you’ll play an important part in supporting daily logistics operations and ensuring shipments are properly documented, updated, and ready to move through the process efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Enter and maintain accurate load, shipment, and customer information within the transportation management system
• Track and organize important shipment documentation, including BOLs, PODs, and rate confirmations
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams to obtain missing information and documentation
• Follow up on completed loads and ensure information is updated accurately and on time
• Support dispatch and logistics teams with daily administrative and operational needs
• Assist the Accounts Receivable team with invoicing and billing-related requests
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide documentation or information needed for invoice processing
• Assist with pickup and delivery appointment scheduling
• Prepare reports and provide operational updates to management
• Identify missing, incomplete, or inaccurate information and coordinate corrections
• Provide general administrative and operational support to leadership and the logistics team

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma
• 3+ years of experience in the transportation/logistics industry preferred
• Candidates without transportation experience may be considered with 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable communicating with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams
• Strong follow-up skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
• Experience with transportation management systems is a plus
