HR Generalist - Tomball, TX (On-Site) (Full-time)

A growing U.S.-based manufacturing organization is seeking an HR Generalist – Staffing & Workforce Planning to support their team.

This is a highly impactful role focused on staffing strategy, agency coordination, and onboarding for a large manufacturing workforce. You’ll partner closely with production leadership to ensure the right people are in place at the right time to meet operational demand.

What You’ll Do

• Lead staffing efforts for manufacturing and production roles through third-party staffing agencies
• Partner with production leaders to forecast workforce needs based on schedules, demand, and project timelines
• Serve as the primary point of contact for staffing agencies and labor vendors
• Oversee onboarding and new hire orientation for production and warehouse employees
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and labor regulations
• Support employee relations, HR inquiries, payroll questions, and benefits guidance
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives and workforce integration efforts
• Provide backup support for payroll processing for direct employees
• Support additional HR administrative and operational needs as required

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in HR, staffing, or workforce coordination (manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred)
• Experience working with staffing agencies or contingent workforce models
• Strong understanding of onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance
• Experience with HRIS systems preferred (not required)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple staffing priorities

Language Requirement

• Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) strongly preferred/required
