Job description

Job Summary
Responsible for the transportation of patients, new admissions and business materials to and from Eagleville Hospital.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Drive regularly scheduled hospital runs.
2. Drive special and emergency runs as requested.
3. Follow a preventative maintenance schedule for all hospital motor vehicles.
4. Ability to use computer and I-Phone in order to obtain work order assignments.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
1. Other duties as assigned.
2. Maintain cooperative, courteous and respectful attitude in all interactions with patients, visitors and staff.
Customer Service and Satisfaction
1. Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally, stating to the caller "Eagleville Hospital" your name and department.
2. Assisting patients, family members and other customers with concern and empathy.
3. Respect patient confidentiality and privacy.
4. Communicate with all customers in a respectful and courteous manner.

Educational Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Qualifications
Must posses a current and valid class C driver's license, experience with transporting patients in a Behavioral Health/Hospital Setting and CPR certification.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 10-25 lbs. required, hand and eye coordination to operate a motor vehicle. Some walking and standing required.
Work Environment
Long and short distant driving
