About The Role

We’re looking for an AI Engineer to own the intelligence layer at the heart of Eagl. You’ll design, build, and iterate on the AI systems that power anomaly detection, automated reconciliation, flux analysis, and explainable financial insights.

You’ll work directly with the founders to define how AI is woven into every part of the product — from LLM-driven agents that automate complex workflows to retrieval and reasoning pipelines that make every number trustworthy. This is a foundational role: you’ll shape the AI architecture from scratch and have outsized impact on what we ship and how customers experience it.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build AI agents and pipelines using LLMs, planning frameworks, and retrieval-augmented generation to automate financial workflows.
• Develop anomaly detection, pattern recognition, and explainability systems that surface insights from complex ERP data.
• Architect the AI infrastructure — model orchestration, evaluation, prompt engineering, and feedback loops — to ensure reliability at scale.
• Collaborate closely with product and backend engineers to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into the user experience.
• Stay at the frontier of applied AI research and bring the best ideas into production.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience building production AI/ML systems, particularly with LLMs
• Hands-on experience with agent frameworks, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering at scale
• Proficiency TypeScript for building AI services and APIs.
• Familiarity with vector databases, embedding models, and evaluation frameworks
• A builder’s mindset: you thrive in fast-moving environments and care about delivering quality fast
• Bonus: experience with financial data, ERP systems, or accounting workflows.
• Bonus: Familiarity with LangChain, Temporal, or similar orchestration tools
• Excitement about applying AI to solve real, high-impact problems in finance
