Role Description The Project Manager role is a full-time, on-site position located in Washington, DC. This role oversees site-development and trucking projects from planning through completion, ensuring work is executed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating project plans, managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and supervising field operations in collaboration with superintendents, drivers, and subcontractors. The Project Manager will monitor progress, handle inspections and documentation, resolve issues that affect logistics or production, and communicate regularly with customers and internal stakeholders. This position also involves managing project resources, supporting compliance with safety standards, and optimizing workflows to improve efficiency and service quality.
Qualifications
  • Strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience as an Expeditor, with knowledge of expediting materials, equipment, and approvals to keep projects on track.
  • Proficiency in Logistics Management, including coordinating trucking operations, deliveries, and site access.
  • Background in Inspection, with the ability to review work quality, safety practices, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Relevant experience in construction, site development, civil infrastructure, or trucking operations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with field crews, clients, and partners.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Proficiency with project management software and standard office tools; familiarity with construction documentation is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
