• Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and\/or training; or equivalent combination and experience. In-depth knowledge of Front Office and Reservations System procedures.  Marriott experience preferred.<\/li><\/ul>","responsibilities":"
  • Must have open availability to include evenings and weekends.<\/li>
  • Responsible for assisting the Assistant Front Office Manager in directing the operations of the front office on a daily basis. Responsible for supervising and working with the Front Office staff to ensure the highest quality of guest service.    <\/li>
  • Ensures that all front office associates receive adequate training for the performance of the position. <\/li>
  • Provides feedback on a continual basis. <\/li>
  • Participated in the training, development, and disciplining of all front office staff. <\/li>
  • Maintains records of absences and tardiness.<\/li>
  • Performs all front office duties, including check-in, check-out, reservations, etc. <\/li>
  • Maintains a high daily average rate (ADR). Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services. <\/li>
  • Ensures that all required reports are completed and submitted in a timely manner. <\/li>
  • Ensures guest satisfaction by responding to and resolving guest complaints. <\/li>
  • Is aware of direct competition.<\/li>
  •  Fills in at the front desk and reservations when staffing needs and hotel needs dictate. <\/li>
  • Maintains regular contact with the Housekeeping Department to ensure proper room status. <\/li>
  • Fills in for the Assistant Front Office Manager in his\/her absence. <\/li>
  • Must wear the required uniform. <\/li>
  • Must maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.<\/li>
  • Ensures that staff are in adherence to uniform\/grooming standards at all times. <\/li>
  • Ensures that all guests are served. <\/li>
  • Notifies the Front Office Manager of guest comments. <\/li>
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.    <\/li><\/ul>

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>

    • Supervises a total of 10 to 20 employees in the front office department.<\/li>
    • Responsible for the direction, coordination, and execution of this unit.  <\/li>
    • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization\u2019s policies and applicable laws. <\/li>
    • Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees(under the discretion of the front office manager); addressing complaints; and resolving problems.    <\/li><\/ul>","company_website_url":"","company_about":"
