This role is conducted entirely remotely, allowing you to provide services from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Remote Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on behavioral and emotional improvement for your clients.
• Facilitating discussions with clients about their emotions and experiences to foster self-awareness and improved relational dynamics.
• Acting as an advocate for clients, assisting them in clarifying their personal goals and strategies to achieve them.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of client mental health conditions and developing personalized treatment plans utilizing your clinical expertise and solution-focused strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with stable adult clients who have been carefully screened to ensure they are suitable for remote counseling. Your caseload will consist of clients with low acuity needs, allowing you to focus on helping them develop strategies for enhancement of their daily mental health rather than dealing with severe psychological crises. We match you with clients based on your specific skills and demographic preferences, ensuring alignment and effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required for applicants:

• A completed Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• Current full licensure to practice independently as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of California. Accepted credentials include:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to empathize and build trust with clients.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology for counseling services and client management.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have experience in a clinical mental health setting, particularly with telehealth counseling. Familiarity with treatment frameworks and modalities, as well as experience catering to diverse client populations, will be advantageous in ensuring tailored treatment plans and effective outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 50,000 to 70,000 per year, which is commensurate with your level of experience and the number of hours you work. Benefits include:
