Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Sales to lead and manage our sales initiatives, attract new business, and strengthen existing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hotel sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. This role is critical to the hotel’s revenue generation strategy and overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed hotel revenue targets.
· Identify new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, industry events,
and partnerships.
· Manage and grow relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners,
and other key accounts.
· Conduct site visits, sales presentations, and client negotiations.
· Work closely with the marketing team to execute promotions and campaigns that drive
bookings.
· Collaborate with operations and revenue management to ensure client satisfaction and
rate optimization.
· Monitor sales performance using KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior
management.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, contracts, and sales
activities in the Delphi system.
· Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the hotel
and attract business.
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role in the hospitality industry.
· Strong knowledge of local and regional market trends.
· Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales management software (e.g., Delphi, Salesforce
amp; Fosse).
· Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
· Flexible schedule, including availability to be on call weekends amp;amp; evenings as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with group sales, corporate accounts, and event planning.
· Familiarity with hotel revenue management principles.
· Marriott hotel experience.
