The Auto Mechanic/Hydraulic Mechanic will specialize in diagnosing and repairing heavy machinery and agricultural equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. This role involves working with both manual and computerized diagnostic tools to maintain and repair hydraulic and engine systems, as well as other vehicle components. Occasional travel to off-site service locations may be required.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostics using manual and computerized tools
- Repair and maintain hydraulic systems on heavy machinery
- Conduct engine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Inspect and service brake systems
- Replace fluids and lubricants to ensure proper function
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify faulty parts
- Replace parts as needed using appropriate tools and equipment
- Test equipment to verify repairs and maintenance effectiveness
- Travel occasionally to off-site service locations as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in automotive or hydraulic mechanics
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
