Work Environment

This is a fully remote position, allowing our counselors to work from anywhere in the United States, emphasizing flexibility while tackling the complex challenges in mental health care. Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate an 8-week evidence-based program that focuses on actionable skills and healthy habit formation through virtual sessions, utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques.
• Document session notes accurately and timely, monitor participant progress, and provide follow-up communications, ensuring continuity of care and effective care coordination.
• Act as a vital member of the care team, helping participants gain access to essential resources while facilitating the completion of consent and authorization processes.
• Identify and address high-risk situations involving participant safety, adhering strictly to established protocols to ensure the welfare of all clients.
• Engage in regular meetings with supervisors, contribute actively in monthly team forums, and partake in Town Hall discussions, fostering a collaborative community.
• Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations and fulfill annual training requirements to stay updated on best practices.
• Demonstrate exemplary performance that is regularly recognized, while receiving clear guidelines for success and professional development in potential future roles.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a mental health counselor, you will be engaging with a diverse client population seeking support in managing and overcoming various mental health challenges. Your therapeutic approach will significantly influence their ability to develop coping strategies, achieve personal goals, and embrace healthier lifestyles.

Qualifications

• A valid clinical license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A commitment to establishing a consistent schedule for patient appointments, ensuring reliable availability for your clients.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in delivering psychotherapy utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other solution-focused methodologies.
• A genuine passion for impacting lives positively and influencing the future of behavioral health care.
• Compliance with UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy, along with a requirement to pass a drug test before beginning employment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient settings or telehealth environments, contributing to a deeper understanding of client needs in these unique contexts.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance patient documentation and workflow efficiencies.
• Knowledge of team-based models in psychiatric care, fostering collaborative engagement in treatment planning and delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranges between USD 115,000 and 130,000, commensurate with experience and hours worked.
• Weekly direct deposit ensures timely salary payments.
