Role Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive healthcare to individuals and families, addressing needs from childhood through old age.
- Treat chronic illnesses, oversee preventive measures, address acute health issues, and manage mental health with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Perform thorough physical examinations, analyze diagnostic results, and design tailored treatment strategies.
- Work alongside care coordinators, specialists, and behavioral health experts to provide holistic solutions.
- Engage in quality improvement projects aimed at boosting patient satisfaction and enhancing healthcare delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems to ensure precise documentation.
- Provide both in-person and virtual consultations to meet the diverse needs of the patient community.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Successful completion of a Family Medicine residency program.
- Board Certification in Family Medicine.
- Possession of an active New Mexico medical license, or eligibility for licensure.
- Preferred certifications in BLS and ACLS.
- Exceptional clinical and diagnostic capabilities, prioritizing preventive healthcare.
- Familiarity and comfort with value-based care frameworks and dedication to ongoing improvement.
- Strong communication skills, fostering collaboration and connection with patients and colleagues alike.
- Proficient with technology, especially in utilizing EMR and telehealth systems.
