Dispatcher / Operations Coordinator — Roll-Off Dumpsters

Run the operation from the ground up

Dumpster Today is a fast-growing roll-off dumpster rental company serving Louisville. We're looking for a Dispatcher / Operations Coordinator to be the hub of our daily operation — planning routes, directing drivers, managing customer orders, and keeping billing tight.

If you like owning a board, solving problems in real time, and being the person everyone counts on to have it handled, this is your seat.

What you'll do

• Route & dispatch — Build and run the daily board. Sequence deliveries, pickups, and swaps for max efficiency. Adjust on the fly for cancellations, add-ons, and delays.
• Direct drivers — Be the drivers' main point of contact all day. Track stops, hours, and location in Motive. Review photos and weight tickets in Docket on every job.
• Own the money — Enter orders, weight tickets, and overage/trip/rental fees accurately. Reconcile tickets against invoices daily so no job goes unbilled.
• Take care of customers — Answer calls and texts fast, quote and schedule jobs, set clear expectations, and get ahead of delays before they become complaints.
• Account for every asset — Know where every can and truck is at all times — on rent, staged, empty, or in for repair.
• Keep receivables current — Run the aging report, follow up on past-due invoices, and log payment commitments.

What we're looking for

• Sharp attention to detail — especially with numbers, tickets, and billing
• Strong organization and the ability to juggle many moving parts under pressure
• Excellent phone and written communication
• Comfort learning software quickly (Docket, Motive, or similar)
• Calm, sound decision-making in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent

Bonus points

• Dispatch, logistics, scheduling, or operations experience (waste / hauling / trucking a big plus)
• Familiarity with roll-off operations, weight/tonnage billing, and landfill/transfer-station processes
• Experience with route optimization or dispatch software
• Knowledge of the Louisville service area
