What You'll Do
- Welcome customers with a smile and friendly conversation
- Process transactions efficiently using modern POS systems (cash, credit, debit, mobile payments)
- Maintain a clean and organized storeinside and out
- Stock shelves and manage inventory to ensure customers find what they need
- Follow safety and compliance regulations for tobacco, alcohol, lottery and other sales
- Promote Duchess Crown Card Rewards our loyalty program offering the best prices and offers to customers
- Use technology to assist customers, track inventory, and improve efficiency
- Other Qualifications include, but are not limited to walking, standing, squatting, lifting, carrying, and reaching. Ability to work in demanding circumstances including variable temperatures, indoors and outdoors.
- Customer-focused mindsetyou love helping people
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling
- Previous retail or food service experience is a plus, but not required
- Comfort with technologywe use modern tools to make work easier
