Job description
Dreamscape Learn, a pioneer in the realm of immersive virtual reality learning design, is seekinga QA Analyst who will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and functionality of our cutting-edge educational VR platform. He will develop and execute comprehensive test cases, perform hands-on manual testing of VR applications built in Unity, and validate internal tools and automation for seamless integration.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of QA processes, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team driving the future of virtual reality.
This is a temporary backfill intended to provide coverage while an employee is on a leave of absence.
Role Responsiblities
- Analyze user stories and requirements to develop detailed test cases.Â
- Perform manual testing of VR applications developed in Unity.Â
- Test in-house tools and automation to ensure they function correctly and integrate seamlessly with our VR platform.Â
- Document and track defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.Â
- Validate bug fixes and ensures the overall quality of the product.Â
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product owners to ensure alignment of quality objectives.Â
- Ensure the application functions as intended from a user perspective.Â
- Provide detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.Â
- Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies.Â
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in QA analysis.Â
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Â
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail).Â
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Â
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Â
- Experience testing in-house tools and automation.Â
- Experience with the Atlassian suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).Â
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with VR technology and Unity XR plugins.Â
- Understanding of user experience principles in VR environments.Â
- Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment.Â
- Certification in QA (e.g., ISTQB).Â
Benefits
