Job description

About the Role:
Join DreamCatchersLLC as a Behavior Technician in Baton Rouge, LA, where you'll make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges. We're looking for passionate individuals who are excited to support our clients in their journey towards independence and growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior during sessions.
  • Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community.
  • Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote skill development.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency in care.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional skills.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all clients.
  • Adapt interventions based on client needs and progress.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral issues is a plus.
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs.
  • Background check clearance required.
