Job description

We are currently recruiting an experienced and relationship-driven Sales Representative to join a growing organization in the prefabricated construction / housing sector. Based in Brockville, Ontario, this role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building new business, networking in the community, and guiding clients through a consultative sales process from first conversation to close.
This is not a passive account management position. We are looking for someone with strong hunter instincts — a professional who is proactive, self-directed, and energized by creating opportunities, building trust, and closing business independently. The successful candidate will support a mix of faster-moving private-sector opportunities and longer-cycle institutional or government-related inquiries, requiring both patience and urgency depending on the client type.

What We Offer
  • Base salary of $65,000 plus commission structure for direct and indirect revenue.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline from prospecting through to signed contract
  • Follow up on qualified leads and develop new business opportunities within the local and regional market
  • Meet with prospective clients in person, including in showrooms, at open houses, on-site, and in the community
  • Support clients through the buying process with a strong consultative and service-oriented approach
  • Maintain accurate activity, follow-up, and pipeline records in HubSpot or a comparable CRM
  • Use digital tools, social media, and creative outreach methods to promote the business and generate interest
  • Participate in community organizations, networking groups, and local events such as monthly meetings and business associations to help expand market presence
  • Collaborate with internal leadership on lead strategy, opportunity tracking, and sales growth planning
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous sales experience in construction, housing, building products, real estate, or a related field
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to connect effectively in the local community
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with a genuine desire to win new business
  • Comfortable working both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Tech-savvy and confident using CRM systems, digital media, and online business development tools
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage both short sales cycles and longer-term opportunities requiring ongoing follow-up
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel locally as needed
  • Comfortable representing the business professionally at events, meetings, and community functions
